You’re probably closer to enquiries than you think

A lot of people assume that if LinkedIn isn’t bringing enquiries, they must be further away than they realised.

They think they need more content, more visibility, or a complete rethink of what they’re doing.

But in a lot of cases, that isn’t true.

What’s usually happening is that they’re closer than they think, but something small is getting in the way at the point where interest should turn into action.

They’re showing up, their content is being seen, and the right people are likely coming across it. There’s enough there to create curiosity. Enough for someone to click through and take a closer look.

That part is working.

Where it tends to fall down is what happens next.

Someone lands on your profile or reads a post with a bit more attention, and instead of feeling certain about what to do, they hesitate. It’s not always obvious why. It might be that the message isn’t clear enough at that moment, or that the next step isn’t easy to spot, or simply that nothing quite pushes them to act.

So they leave it.

They were interested, but nothing made the decision easy.

That’s the part most people don’t see.

From your side, it just looks like nothing happened. Another post, another view, another day of activity with no real outcome.

But from their side, there was a moment where it almost turned into something, and then didn’t.

That’s why it can feel confusing. You’re not starting from zero, and you’re not as far off as it seems. You’re just missing something in the moment that matters most.

And that’s often harder to spot than bigger, more obvious issues.

Because it’s not about doing more. It’s about seeing what’s already happening and understanding why it’s not quite converting.

They are creating more, yet getting noticed...
